Waterfall Cottage has been created to provide you with a unique experience. We offer lots of lovely extras, but in a self catering environment. You can relax from the moment you arrive.
Luxury goodies......
We provide little extras like dressing gowns and slippers for you to enjoy whilst you are staying, hot water bottles, snuggly blankets and extra towels in case your towels don’t dry in time (who wants a soggy towel on holiday?!). There are marshmallows for toasting on the log fire and a lovely comfy summer house for all year round use (it has a fan heater!). You can also indulge in our gorgeous “Faith In Nature” toiletries.
We also have modern comforts……….good/free wi-fi, a smart TV and a blue tooth speaker for playing your relaxing holiday music.
Derbyshire breakfast........
We will provide everything you need to cook a full Derbyshire breakfast on your first morning (probably enough for 2 mornings in reality!)…………bacon, sausage, black pudding, eggs, beans, mushrooms and not forgetting Derbyshire Oatcakes! We will provide vegetarian or vegan options if you let us know in advance. Everything will be sourced locally.
We also provide some milk, orange juice, bread, butter and have a good stock of tea bags (including speciality teas), instant coffee, sugar and some coffee pods (Nespresso) to use in our coffee machine. You’ll find various jams, marmalade and honey, along with tomato ketchup and brown sauce to make that breakfast even yummier!
The things we include to enhance your stay..........
You will have a fully equipped kitchen, including washing up materials, dishwasher tablets, washing machine liquid, tin foil, cling film, kitchen roll – all the things you normally need to take with you (and forget?!) on a self-catering holiday.
If you forget your toothbrush, don't worry......there will be one for you! Toothpaste, ear plugs, eye mask, cotton wool, sewing kit, spare batteries........it's all there!
If you would like anything extra to be there on arrival, please do let us know. We can offer anything from a bottle of champagne or a disposable BBQ, to a full supermarket shop……………all at cost price, no mark-up, it would just be our pleasure to help!
Bring your four legged friend........
We adore dogs, and know that leaving them with someone else is sometimes just not an option! We welcome a maximum of 2 well-behaved doggies. The outside area is dog proofed to our best ability (our cocker spaniel, Scamp, hasn’t escaped yet!) and there is a little grassy area if that’s their preferred toileting option!
We provide a dog wash and doggie shampoo, as well as towels, feeding bowls and a blanket. Your dog may also receive a little treat on arrival (if they promise not to jump on the furniture!).
